A six-week group programme that takes a comprehensive approach to managing your Parkinson’s symptoms. Our programme is designed to provide practical dietary and lifestyle tips, knowledge, and delicious recipes that will give your cells what they need to function as well as they possibly can so that you can regain your vitality and feel more at ease.
You will learn how food – and the nutrients in food – affects everything our cells do for us on a second-by-second basis, and you will learn how to apply this to take charge of your health and get the best out of your neurons, muscles, organs, and even your DNA! You and your fellow participants will be able to share your experiences, successes and insights with each other, ask questions and try out recipes and snack ideas, connecting through the weekly lunchtime 1-hour workshops, as well as in the WhatsApp and Facebook groups made just for you.
We will look in depth at 5 pillars of health that are of particular importance in Parkinson’s:
- Regulating digestion and getting your gut moving
- Tackling energy dips
- Helping your liver to detox
- Easing stress and anxiety and improving mental clarity
- Combatting free-radical neuronal damage and inflammation
By the end of the programme, you will have acquired a treasure trove of tools and knowledge for taking control of your health and reclaiming your vitality and mental clarity. We will have weekly tasks, recipes and challenges, and I’m here to support you every step of the way!
